What's So Important About Family Portraits?


I know all too well how important documenting your family is. We've experienced the joys of marriage, pregnancy, birth, growth, and many years of love. But we've also said goodbye to beloved parents and grandparents over the last decade, as well as four-legged family members we loved deeply. I'm so thankful to be able to look back at our portraits over the years and see my mama holding my babies and remember how much she loved them, and to see photos of our baby being nuzzled by our beloved bull dog just months before we lost her. Simply put, your portraits hold your family's memories. Your family session is a worthwhile investment in beautifully preserving these memories to look back on, and pass down for generations.

Why Choose Me For Your Family Photographer?


Easy. I LOVE families. And I happen to have a fairly large one. And I don't believe any family is ever too difficult to photograph. Have a challenging child in your family? Me too. Have very small children who run wild every chance they get? Been there. Have body issues and dread getting in front of the camera? Same! But don't stress, because I know the struggle, and I've got your back. I'll happily chase your toddler around with my camera and play peek-a-boo until I get a smile. I'll lay on the ground with your kids and throw grass at them to get them to laugh. I'm confident enough with my skills and equipment to work quickly and get the shot, but I'll use my awkwardness to get a smile out of even the grumpiest husband. My family portrait style is a mixture of posed and editorial so you'll have lots of variety to choose from.

But What Does It Cost?


Single Family Session


Your family session is an all-inclusive cost of $450. That includes my time designing and photographing your session, and 20+ digital images. A $50 reservation fee is due to reserve your date on my calendar, and the balance is due 24 hours prior to your session.

Generational Family Session


Generational sessions start at $450, but are very individualized based on the size of your family and the goals you have for your session. Contact me for a quote on your generational family session.
